Lemon Drop

A modified martini which emerged and become popular during the 1990s. Like the Lemon Drop shot, it is believed to have morphed a Lemon Drop cocktail created in the 1970s by Norman Jay Hobday, an out-of-work Vietnam vet turned saloon owner, also credited with opening the country’s first fern bar in San Francisco.

How It's Made

1. Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice:

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3/4 oz Cointreau
  • 2 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup

2. Strain into a martini or couple glass & garnish with lemon wheel.
